Hi, I'm Tracey Mekitarian
Educational Therapist
QCT Registration No. 594806
Transpersonal Art Therapist and Counsellor
ANZACATA Member No. 68787508
For more than 40 years, I have had the privilege of working alongside young people with disabilities and life challenges, their families, schools, and communities. Throughout my career, I have witnessed something extraordinary time and again: when people feel safe, valued, and genuinely understood, they are far more able to discover their strengths, develop confidence, and flourish.
This belief sits at the heart of everything I do.
I see every individual as unique.
We are not defined by diagnoses, labels, or the challenges we face. Each of us brings our own gifts, perspectives, and qualities that have the potential to enrich our own lives, our families, workplaces, and communities. I believe that everyone has inherent worth and that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in ways that honour who they are.

My work has always been grounded in creating environments where safety and well-being come first.
Emotional safety allows curiosity, learning, connection, and growth to emerge. It creates the conditions where people can explore possibilities, build resilience, and move towards lives that are meaningful to them.
I also believe that we all carry an innate wisdom within us.
Sometimes life's experiences can make it difficult to hear that inner knowing, but it is never lost. My role is not to provide all the answers, but to create the space where people can reconnect with their own insights, strengths, and capacity to make choices that are right for them.
Whether I am working with individuals, families, educators, or organisations, my intention is always the same: to foster connection, nurture well-being, and support people to recognise their own potential and the valuable contribution they make to the world around them.
I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.
